The SIP1202 is a high-performance ambient light sensor with a small package size, also known as an ALS. The ALS measures ambient light illuminance, and its response value is output via an I2C communication port.
The SIP1202 contains two ALS channels. Two sets of photodiodes with specific optical filters, ultra-high sensitivity, and low dark current are the core components of the ALS. They accurately simulate the spectral response of the human eye and are precisely adapted to various light sources. Precise timing control and independent gain settings for different channels facilitate the measurement of a wide range of illuminance.
The SIP1202 also integrates a 512-byte FIFO (First-In-First-Out memory) as a data buffer.
