The SIA5118 is a mono digital input Class-D audio amplifier designed to efficiently drive small 4Ω to 8Ω speakers to output high peak power, and supports high-voltage power supplies up to 16V.
The chip employs a Y-bridge output architecture and dynamic voltage regulation technology, significantly improving overall efficiency at low power levels and reducing power consumption during dynamic playback. For speaker and chip protection, the chip integrates voltage and current detection functions to monitor the speaker's operating status in real time, achieving intelligent protection in conjunction with external algorithms. It also features built-in power limiting and EQ filtering, along with multiple protections against over-temperature, over-current, and under-voltage, comprehensively ensuring the safety of both the speaker and the chip.
The chip is flexibly configurable via the I2C interface, supporting up to eight devices sharing the I2S/TDM and I2C buses, easily building multi-channel audio systems. The chip is housed in a 30-pin FCQFN package with a 0.4mm pin pitch and operates stably over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
