The SIA8000 is a high-efficiency Class-D audio amplifier with differential analog inputs, an integrated adaptive charge pump multiplier, and a controllable single-stage OPC. The SIA8000 supports applications in mobile phones, tablets, personal electronic devices, building/home automation, and more.

The charge pump converter can double the battery voltage to a maximum of 8V, thereby providing 2.8W of output power to an 8Ω speaker.

Speaker safety is ensured by SI’s patented speaker protection architecture, which can be implemented with an on-chip protection controller or with the Sound Intelligence™ speaker protection and audio enhancement software suite running in the host, creating the industry’s first analog input intelligent audio amplifier.

The SIA8000 features a Single Wire Interface (OWI), allowing the device to operate independently or in conjunction with the Sound Intelligence™ audio algorithms running in a host system. The chip is housed in an ultra-compact 4mm² FCQFN package with a 15-pin 0.4mm pitch, making this solution the industry's smallest high-voltage intelligent audio amplifier. The product operates over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
