The SIH6164 is a 9-pin H-bridge haptic driver IC. This chip supports low-power standby mode, real-time playback mode, stored playback mode, continuous mode, and test mode (including actuator RL (LRA resistor) detection, LRA diagnostics, and VBAT measurement). Automatic braking is enabled in all playback modes. It includes a fast mode and an I2C interface. The SIH6164 aims to provide a perfect haptic experience and user feel for smartphones, tablets, and wearable devices. It supports unipolar PWM output drive. It supports OTP/OCP/UVLO/POR protection functions. It supports transmitting chip warnings and FIFO status via hardware pin interrupts.
