The SIF2688 is a time-of-flight (TOF) 3D CMOS image sensor with a resolution of VGA (640×480) and a diagonal length of 4mm.
This sensor employs BSI technology and enhances near-infrared (NIR plus) to improve quantum efficiency. The absolute target distance accuracy is 1% of the measured distance, and the relative target distance accuracy is 0.5% of the measured distance.
It supports features such as region of interest (ROI), simulated pixel merging, resolution reduction, and flexible frame control and configuration. It operates in global shutter mode, with a raw data frame output rate of up to 240fps.
It uses a standard MIPI interface for data transmission. It includes standard I2C and SPI interfaces for receiving control signals and providing control to external devices.
The SIF2688 can be widely used in applications including facial recognition, 3D modeling, gesture recognition, robots, mobile phones, tablets, PCs, AR/VR, etc.
