The SIA9306 is a digital input Class-D audio amplifier that integrates an adaptive high-efficiency DC-DC boost converter with load current measurement (I) and prediction-based output voltage (V) sensing. The multi-level adaptive DC-DC converter can boost the output voltage up to 10.5V. The boosted output voltage can easily drive hands-free speakers from 4Ω to 8Ω for audio playback, or receiver speakers up to 32Ω for hands-free playback. Thanks to the adaptive boost converter, the SIA9306 saves over 10% of power in low-power output mode compared to conventional solutions on the market.

Integrated speaker voltage and current detection capabilities enable real-time monitoring of the speaker, helping external algorithms protect the speaker from damage.

The SIA9306 also provides over-temperature protection, over-current protection, over-voltage protection, and under-voltage protection to protect the chip.

The SIA9306 can be configured by an external processor via I2C. It can be set to one of four dedicated I2C addresses or a general-purpose I2C address, allowing multiple SIA9306 devices in the system to connect to the same I2C bus.

The chip is packaged in a 25-ball WLCSP with a 0.35mm pitch. The product can operate over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
