The SIA9287 is an I2S/TDM input Class-D audio amplifier that integrates a hardware SITune algorithm, an adaptive high-efficiency DC-DC boost converter, and speaker voltage and current sensors. The hardware SITune algorithm includes EQ, MBDRC, OPC, AGL, static displacement control, and speaker temperature protection.
The adaptive tracking DC-DC converter provides precise VBST up to 10.5V for Class D output power, resulting in higher efficiency. The boosted output voltage can easily drive hands-free speakers from 4Ω to 8Ω for audio playback, or receiver speakers up to 32Ω for hands-free playback.
Integrated speaker voltage and current sensing capabilities monitor the speaker's DC resistance and temperature in real time, and work in conjunction with the internal hardware SITune algorithm to protect the speaker from damage.
The SIA9287 also provides over-temperature protection, over-current protection, over-voltage protection, and under-voltage protection to protect the chip.
The SIA9287 can select one of four I2C addresses via different address pin connections, as well as a general-purpose I2C address, allowing multiple SIA9287 devices in the system to connect to the same I2C bus.
The SIA9287 is packaged in a 42-ball FOWLP package with a 0.4mm pitch, and measures 2.60mm × 2.93mm × 0.535mm.
