On July 6, the Yangtze Daily reported that Wuhan Juxin Microelectronics Co., Ltd. has been included in the globally influential 2021 Silicon 100 list. This list focuses on global semiconductor startups and is judged based on criteria such as technological innovation, target market, financial and investment status, maturity, and industry leadership.
“The organizers of this list believe that ‘China’s continued rise has brought tremendous benefits, with more Chinese semiconductor startups joining this ranks.’ We are greatly encouraged by Juxin Micro’s appearance here, as it brings attention to Wuhan’s chip companies in the global professional field,” said Kong Fanxiao, co-founder and chief marketing officer of Juxin Microelectronics.
Founded five years ago in Optics Valley, Juxin Micro focuses on the design of high-performance analog and mixed-signal chips. Its core team members mostly come from well-known chip design companies in Europe and the United States, possessing leading technological innovation capabilities and rich industrialization experience. Last year, it released China's first back-illuminated high-resolution time-of-flight (ToF) sensor chip, which is very suitable for high-precision applications such as face recognition and 3D modeling. Its performance has reached the international leading level, successfully filling the gap in related fields in China and making the company the first in the world after Sony and Samsung to master this technology.
Kong Fanxiao introduced that the company's self-developed intelligent audio chips and solutions have been mass-produced by many leading mobile phone brands such as OPPO, Xiaomi, and Samsung, with monthly shipments exceeding 10 million units.
"We strive to build our own controllable wafer and packaging and testing capacity within 3-5 years through in-depth cooperation and customized development with wafer fabs and packaging and testing plants. In the future, we will build a 100 billion yuan integrated circuit industry cluster in Wuhan through investment, mergers and acquisitions," said Kong Fanxiao.
